It feels really good to have a new project on the needles again. Especially one that is a lovely fingering weight project with a lovely soft and squishy yarn like this Malabrigo one I treated myself with recently. I’m back to selfish knitting again (yay for me!) and I working on another cardigan.
This time it’s the featherweight cardigan (here’s my project page on ravelry). It’s a hugely popular design and now that I’m knitting it I can see why it’s such a simple pattern that it feels like I could knit it in my sleep - which is a great thing after months of tedious pattern following!!! I plan on making it longer than the pattern calls for because I hate when cardigans feel short because I constantly spend my time pulling them down. I’m just going to keep knitting until I run out of yarn!
I’ve a huge number of project ideas again and can’t wait to go yarn shopping! Fun times ahead!

Oh, I love the color for your featherweight! I started one of those a while ago, maybe I should dig it out...

Beautiful blue! I haven't used Malabrigo for a larger project really, but I imagine it would be spectacular.

I made this using lace weight yarn.....and while I love it, I've often thought about making it again with fingering wt. I'll be following your progress.....I might be casting it on, too!
