Farewell February – oh we’ve had some good times
Puppy playdates – Boomer turned 1 and we celebrated him becoming a cuddle monster with copious amounts of cuddles and with a little puppy play with our friends three month old Doberman who’s already bigger than Boomer. Watching them chase and jump on each other was great fun.
Making little updates – I’m slowing doing a few decorating updates around the house. February gave us the bedside locker, some new plants and a huge poster (I haven’t shared that one yet) but March is bringing some even more fun updates including a huge canvas painting and several new prints for the craft area.
Quilting – oh yes I’ve managed to go from a pile of squares to a fully basted ready-to-quilt quilt but best of all in March it’s going to make a wonderful gift , provided I get it finished in time
Blankets and knitting galore – thanks to the snow days I managed to make a baby blanket, a soft and fluffy cowl and I’m at least ¾ of the way through the biggest most complicated and rewarding knitting project I’ve ever taken on, my cable-knit blanket, I don’t even mind if I don’t get in finished in March because I’m enjoying it so much.
Stretching my legs – by running some crazy long distances (for me) all in training for my first ever half-marathon which is now just over a week away
March will going to be exciting: not only do I have the half-marathon race weekend I’m also going home to Ireland for a long, long anticipated visit and I cannot wait!!
