Love this sign from a Crawfish festival we went to last weekend. Even though I don't eat crawfish there was so much amazing food at that festival I could nearly give it its own post - food, beer and sunshine with 10,000 others - always awesome.
Those little coupons I posted last week resulted in money off all of the above stuff. I love saving money. One of the best things about shopping in America is the coupons, I'm a new addict. The retail price of those items was $38.50 but with coupons I paid only $23. Yes!
I started back knitting my blanket, which coincedently is also green and orange, oh and white....basically I went to Micheals expected to pick purple yarn (because I have a big thing for purple) and came out with the colours of the Irish flag, which I only realised when I'd already started knitting it. I must be missing home a bit.
Moment after taking that photo I got a massive insect bite on my foot.....fire ants! Ahhh this state has so many new bugs that I have no experience of. Ireland is practically barren in comparison.
Step 1: Drop a small fortune in Lowes for supplies
Step 2: Fight dirty! This Is Sparta!
Step 3: Apply copious amounts of anti-itch cream - we won the war but they fought back pretty hard - my legs are destroyed with bites
First picnic with the new picnic blanket and an beautiful little basket I picked up in a thrift store.
He looks kinda funny without his teeth, funny but adorable. I think he might be a little happy he can chew again, for the time being!
We're off camping again this weekend - to Table Rock State Park - weather is meant to be a lot hotter than the last trip so it'll be interesting to see how tent sleeping goes.
What are you guys up to the weekend?
